1. Introduction
The MMMS-C application is a digital tool designed to assess cognitive function in children aged 3-14 years. This guide will help you effectively use the application to conduct and score assessments.
Important: This tool is for screening purposes only and should be used in conjunction with
comprehensive clinical evaluation.
2. Getting Started
Patient Information
- Enter the patient's full name in the "Patient Name" field
- Input the patient's age (must be between 3-14 years)
- Select the current examination date
- Enter the examiner's name
Tip: All fields are required for accurate interpretation of results.
3. Assessment Categories

4. Scoring Instructions
- Score Boxes: Click on the score boxes (0) to toggle between 0 and 1
- Unselected box (0) = Task not completed successfully
- Selected box (1) = Task completed successfully
- Automatic Calculation: The total score is automatically calculated as you toggle scores
- Score Range: Total possible score is 37 points
5. Interpreting Results
Click the "Interpret Score" button to view age-specific interpretations:

cases of encephalopathy.

- Print: Use your browser's print function to create a hard copy of the assessment
- Responsive Design: The application works on both desktop and mobile devices
