Purpose

Who Can Use This App

This app is intended for use by medical professionals including doctors, nurses, and medical students who need to analyze and interpret ABG results. It is suitable for both adults and pediatric patients.

How to Use This App

  1. Enter Patient Information: Input the patient's name and age in the designated fields.
  2. Input ABG Values: Enter the pH, PaCO2 (partial pressure of carbon dioxide), and HCO3 (bicarbonate) values in the respective fields.
  3. Interpret Results: Click the "Interpret" button to analyze the ABG values. The app will display the interpretation along with a detailed explanation of the condition.
  4. Save Results: After interpretation, click the "Save Result" button to store the interpretation along with the patient information in your browser's local storage.
  5. Retrieve Results: Click the "Retrieve Results" button to view previously saved interpretations. You can also delete individual results if needed.
  6. Reset Fields: Click the "Reset" button to clear all input fields and results for a fresh start.

Displaying on Large Screens and Mobile Devices

For optimal viewing, it is recommended to use this app on a large screen such as a desktop or laptop. However, if you are using a mobile device, it is best to hold the phone horizontally to ensure all content is visible and easily accessible.
